Your bar is too big. I used a dowel for a while until I landed on it. Being rather thick, it didn't break. It hurt like hell. I've used copper pipe (bent), bamboo (broke), string (hard to gauge height, bad reset, painful bails). I use a fiberglass tent pole. Extremely flexy, strong, and straight. I've broken one of these too, but it lasted me the longest by far. |
