WOO! Nice to see a bunch of other telemarkers out there! Can't say I understand the hate involved with snowsports... everyone is sliding down the hill somehow in the end, doesn't matter what style you use. I would say telemark is as limiting as you think it is. I can ski switch (tele style), spin 720s in the park, hit rails, drop cliffs, ski pow, race, pick up women... seems to work pretty well for just about everything actually. Except for those darn nose butters... they just don't work. Oh yeah... telemark is not slow, some people just need more practice.

I think you guys just need to click-in properly, and realise that weener speed isn't real world speed. Yes, everyone else is going faster than you telemarkers, it's not some crazy theory either. The shortest distance between two points is what? A straight line.
