Color Options For KH Unis

i think that Kris could bennifit from offering diffrent color unis. i know i would have no need for a choice between KH and k1 if Kris offerd color opotions like K1 does.
i was thninking like white red blue and green and black as standard optins

Then you end up paying up to $100 just for a different color, If they were factory painted they could stay the same price.

price would go up anyway, they would have to set up for multiple colors, plus overstocking on less popular colors could be hazardous. Ask kris what he thinks.

The increase in price would still be less though. When you have to change the color afterwards you have to take the blue off first. I would think it would be much cheaper to have them powdercoated colors in taiwan or whatever the first time.

i think a unique colour is quite cool, makes it even better when u have cutom powdercoated.

But then again kris is loosing market to koxx cause they have cooler designs... so he probs should so sommit against that. especially in europe. i mean in US koxx doesnt seem very well known.

If color is your only factor in choosing between a KH and a K1, you need to change your priorities.

Maybe SUN makes a color you like?

Or he could do what many bike manufactures do.

...make each year model a different color. Nimbus should do the same with the 36er. Too much blue out there now!!

I don't like this idea for a couple reasons.

1) it would raise the price

2) one of the big reasons I like making my unicycle different colors is to make it individual. If I go out and buy it that way its not as good.

3) even if he added a couple colors people still wouldn't be happy...

I like mscalisi's idea. There are a number of reasons why carrying multiple colors raises costs. You have to keep more inventory on hand. You tend to always be out of the color people want. Warehouse space costs money, etc. These costs would have to be passed along to the customer.

But changing the color with new models, or annually, or something like that might not raise any costs at all, other than working out the colors themselves. Cool idea! I like red. I waited a year for my red Wilder (not that I knew that's what would happen when I ordered it).

There are not enough unicycles in the world to worry about whether or not yours is the same color as someone elses.

In my opinion the blue looks good and when you see a unicycle that color you automatically think "hey there's a KH!"

P.S. I still think all SKI-DOOs should be yellow, Yamaha purplish blue, Arcticat green, and Polaris either red or blue

I think he should offer,
An orange KH!
A blue KH!
or a blue and orange KH.
