I sometimes make small tracks in Fruity Loops, but that's more production than DJing. I'd love to try scratching, but I haven't got the equipment and don't know anyone who does.

DJing is great, hope you get good at it.

Does anybody know of a windows equivalent to Mac's Garage Band? I LOVE that program, but I dont have a Mac.

I've never tried DJing, sounds fun. My brother has a scratching thing where its a spinable CD. Its pretty sweet, but its sort of hard. Sometimes I can catch a word, but most of the time its hard.

I've messed around in Acid (Sony) a bit. Other than that I've only tried my friend's turntables a couple times.

I like listening to the trance/techno/house/vocal trance on di.fm or sky.fm sometimes.

Yeh, Sony Acid is a pretty cool program, but definatley lacks the ease-of-use in Apple's garage band. If only they made a Windows version.

ive done a little Djing but nothing all that serious. but i agree, it is great fun. I cannot afford the equiptment and also where i live there is no demand for a dj

I found using the Numark CD/scratch player combo things amounts to heaps more fun than turntables because then i could create my own beats using fruityloops(hehe) then mix them together with other songs and such as i go.

I had a morning drive time show on community radio for about 8 years, so I guess that's DJ-ing. Didn't do sock hops or raves or anything like that. Just played the killer tunes of my own choosing.
