Question Anyone want to buy our movie?

I actually didn't expect anyone not living in Australia to want a copy of our movie but it turns out a few of you do. Since I'm now going to be sending some copies overseas, I really need to have some sort of rough estimate of the number of copies I might sell so that I can work out costs, etc. There will also be some copies sold (I think) through www.unicycle.co.nz and www.unicycles.com.au so it would probably also help Tony, Peter, and the team to know who in NZ wants one.

For the ones sold overseas I think I'll probably just be selling them myself rather than through unicycles.com.au and I'll try to make them as cheap as possible.

I asked about prices for shipping today at the post office. They said that for something about 400g it's $10AUD for economy postage and about $12AUD for regular. With economy they apparently send them to LA and then they get transferred from there.

So does anyone else apart from Chirokid want a copy? In case you haven't seen them, there are some teasers and bits and pieces at www.unicyclist.com/gallery/albuu61 . Before you decide though, remember that it will be available for download in low-res and split up into sections without the extras.

Let's say (working in Australian dollars) that shipping is $12 and a blank DVD and case is $5. Then the cost for you people would be in the $20-$25 range (because there are probably some other expenses in there somewhere). So it will probably be about $15 or a bit more for Americans and about 10 pounds for the English people.

Thanks for your help,
Andrew

I'd be interested in buying it. How long is it going to be when it's finished?

Wow, cool! Thanks guys. It's looking like being 30-40 minutes for the feature with 5-10 minutes of extras. It will most likely be finished in about a month.

Me too. It would be a good idea for you to set up a paypal account for payment. Probably the easiest way to get the money to you. I got a payment from europe this way, and it was easy.

Thanks Tim, Ken, and Bugman! That paypal account sounds interesting. How does it work?

I might as well mention it here...there'll be some cool footage from a trials demo I'm doing on sunday with some bike trials friends in the movie. Plus some other little snippets of bike trials including a 2.5m drop to flat cement from the top of a bus stop! He did a really smooth landing too.

I'm amazed that there's some interest overseas, thanks again.

Andrew
