"Most Replys!!!!" regrets
I get an email whenever someone responds to an RSU thread in which I've participated.
Once during a non-thinking moment, I posted to the "Most Replys!!!!" thread and now I am regretting my stupidity. My e-inbasket is now polluted with email that proudly alerts me whenever someone posts anew to this wonderful source of intelligent conversation. Unfortunately, I'd like to keep the alerts of posts to "lesser" threads coming so I'll just have to put up with the pollution. |

have you tried the "unsubscribe" link towards the bottom of the email about a new post? What does that do?

Re: "Most Replys!!!!" regrets
From the title I thought this was a thread in which yoopers offered the opportunity for anyone who ever posted on the "Most Replys!!!!" thread to express his/her regrets for doing that.

More of an opportunity to rant than to express, I think... ...but I've had a good night's sleep and now I feel better. B |

I think that once you are subscribed to a thread you cannot unsubscribe from it. Turning off the email alerts will only turn off the email alerts for future threads that you participate in. The threads that you are currently getting email alerts for will continue to alert you whenever something is posted. At least that's the way I think it works. You'd have to ask Gilby to find out for sure.
I think the only fix will be to get Gilby to manually edit the database to remove your alerts from that thread.
