Cranks, bearings, seat, spokes, seat post, etc...

I'll bet on one of the first two.

You do know that higher pressure results in a twitchier/more sensitive ride right?
New slicker tire + higher pressure (maybe + a lack of current riding?) = squirrelly unicycle.
