Yesterday I rode in the charity ride "MS Gong" raising funds for MS research. I was one of maybe just 3 unicycles in a field of over 10,000 bicycles. I was warned to expect a barrage of typical unicycle comments but instead received only a couple of "missing wheels".

The positive comments from bicycle riders and spectators was just over whelming, I couldn't respond or even wave in reply to most. From "respect", "legend", "amazing", "well done" to "I've just been passed by a unicycle".

Quotes of the day are:

At a rest stop at bicycle rider asked, "Can I get a selfie with you and your unicycle".

Lady passing me down a very steep hill called out "passing right", to which I say "you and everyone else". She comes back with, "well you just passed me going up the last hill".
