Similarly the load ratings which assume the rider is going considerably faster than a unicycle and hence hitting bumps a lot harder, which would load the tyre a lot more.

For example the Maxxis Hookworm 20 x 1.95 has a load rating embossed on the casing of 75kg but clearly is fine with a lot more load.
