Hi RedWely - just seen your proposed route for the London to Brighton run - very detailed and well worked out. I have a few comments to run by you, so would it be possible for you to email your telephone number to me so I can call you and discuss a couple of slight route changes with you - some of the "B" roads are extremely narrow and has a few blind-corners, and I know from experience the traffic (being off the beaten track) mostly screams around these "greenbelt" lanes which could present a potential safety problem. I'd appreciate talking to you on options if poss'. My telephone numbers are 01922 645938 or 07866 784434 and email is rob@likwidart.com. Hope to hear from you. Regards - Rob LIKWIDART.

    Hi Sam.
Really like your 24 hour distance record. Good going! I'm just starting to get into long distance riding and have a few questions... but we'll start with this one.
Just wondering what kind of saddle you used. I'm sure it would hurt to use a regular saddle. I saw that you had an air cushion?
    Thanks for any feedback!

    Hi Geoff

Sorry to reply so late to this - I rarely go to the User CP page, so I didn't see your message until now. I did see a few of your posts in the forums, but hadn't realised you were in Mach. I think you said you had got a 36 now - how is it going?

I love riding up the A438 to Mach from Aber, so we should meet for a ride in Mach some time - Saturdays are best for me. Though not for the next few, as I'm not riding due to breaking my collarbone in a fall. I have a Schlumpf 36" which is a bit of a beast, but you are welcome to have a try on it.

    Bore da Sam,
My name is Geoff Bond and I live near Machynleth. I am well aware of your record-breaking attempt at Aberystwyth and I have past connections with the college campus having worked in the Art Centre there. In the first instance this message is just to say hello from one unicyclist to another, albeit the difference in age and experience between us is impossibly vast! That is, I probably won't live long enough to get as good as you are

However, I do have an ulterior motive in contacting you directly and that is to ask for your advice on selecting a 36er. I had singled out the Nimbus Pro ISIS on Unicycle.com complete with brake and T7. The price for this machine with brake and T7 is £460. If you had £460 would you buy this 36er? If not what would you do with £460 to get together a 36" unicycle? Any feedback you can offer would be gratefully received
    Geoff Bond
