I checked out the homemade handle bar forum!!! WOW - how cool! I am very excited to get started. I think I can do it. I didn't realize you'd used the old KH seat post with the brake attachment. Great idea.

I'd love to include you on the 100 mile communication. I will forward your email to the gorup. The plan is to try to ride the Silver Comet - the longest paved trail in the states (95 miles) from Atanta west into Alabama. The dates are going to be between Christmas and New Years (depending on weather). Rob from MUni fest, Bill Spears, Jeff Ray, and Josh from UDC are all going to be able to ride. Jeff and I are riding almost every weekend to try and build up miles. We did 30 miles the past two weekends. Aslo we may ride the Swank (40 miles MUni) in Pisgah November 8th on 29ers. I'm leaving town the 23 to the 29th - but will be riding like crazy once I return. Please come and join us for a ride or three!

I purchased a KH 36er right after MUni fest. I am loving it! I was going to purchase a handle bar, but loved the way you custom made yours out of a spare uni frame. I have an extra 16 inch Sun frame that I am planning on using. Can you send me pictures of your handle bar set up or can you send me information about how you connected the frame to the brake mounting tube under the KH seat?

When are you guys coming back to Asheville? We'd love to ride with you!!!
