My very first AERIAL MUni Video!

Soon after starting I got a bad sprain doing a drop off a big boulder, (Clip included at the end) but I had to continue since Patrick (quadcopter pilot) felt he could never make this difficult hike again, so most of the riding you see was with a sprained ankle!

Shot 7/19/14 in Simi Valley, "Hummingbird" trail is rocky, steep and very technical, and the aerial footage really captures it! Filmed with his DJI Phantom quadcopter with Gopro Hero 3 black edition, Patrick managed to get some amazingly CLOSE follow shots, flying only a few feet from me! That was a bit unnerving, but a testament to his awesome flying skills! Hope you enjoy!

    hey Terry
I got a 36er from you about 7 years age. I find it a bit hard to find the time to get good with it I also have a 24" torker dx that I can ride but gravel and dips and bumps in the grass give me trouble so I would like to try some thing with a larger wheel as most of my riding is on gravel. I thought that a 29er would roll over the small obsticals a bit better if so I was looking at the Nimbus Orical. what do you think? is there a 26 or 29 as good at a better price out and available? or do you know of any used ones for sale?
    thanks Stephen

Hi Terry, can you refresh my memory. What did you say the advantage are for a 120tpi tire compared to a 27tpi. I have the Surly 29x3-27tpi now. When it comes time to replace it was just wondering if the 120 is worth the extra money. Thanks.

From 5.7.14. This trail is notorious for chewing up riders and spitting them out. One unicyclist broke his back here. I’m lucky to have come out in one piece, but I won’t be back.Once is more than enough! The camera does not convey just how steep, rocky and brutal this trail is, but it’s as close as I can get.

Just as I enter the trail, at :34, you can see that I suddenly go into an unintentional 'frozen' still stand, as if the trail is warning, "DO NOT GO IN!":
