The D Brake should fit fine, what is the fit problem?

You might want to post the question to the general forum.

My guess is brake spacing or spoke clearance. Worse case scenario you have to do some dremeling on the D Brake for spoke clearance or use washers to properly space the caliper

    Hi
I live in Israel and I have purchased a Nibus Oregon disc hub, Nimbus D-brake, Kris Holm sym 130 cranks and Avid Elixer XO trail brakes to upgrade my UDC TItan just to fined out that the D-brake won't fit my frame and the 12G spokes wont fit the hub.
considering i cant send it all back and i dont want another 36er, what are my options?

When you flatten the seat, the distance between the holes decrease, so you need to do some creative whittling/dremel work to make it fit. If you don, the force of claming the seat back onto the post will cause it to recurve.

Question on ghetto flat seats: Do you have to boil and clamp them with a seat post attached to maintain the curvature of the 4 hole post interface?

Most people ride 150's, I have run as long as 175, but have settled on 150's as well. LOng cranks are great for power and balance, so a new rider might feel more comfortable using a 165, but a long crank does throw off your balance more and it is more work to push a big cranks. Cranks are cheap, get some 150's and try them.

Nurse Ben, I was wondering about crank sizes. I'm new to the sport and just bought a Nimbus 26 MUni. I'm about 2 months into it riding a unicycle and the 165 cranks that come on it seem long. I noticed you had a had full of cranks in a post while I was researching drilling mine out to add a shorter length. What would you recommend on a 26?

Also, I hope there is a 2014 MUnifest in Ashville. I would love to attend.

Let me get back to you when I return from vacation at the end of the week, we can work out details then. I'll be able to post/send pics at that time.

I'd like to buy the wheel you are posting: 36" Complete Wheel: Dominator 2 rim, Oregon hub, Todd tire, tubeless!

I have a Coker Big One. I've never priced a rebuilt wheel before so I'm unclear about what a fair price is. I would be willing to go with whatever you deem is fair. For shipping my ZIP is 21044.
