Yeah title says it all. So please join it will be very fun.
There are a few restrictions... well maybe just one, but that is NO FLYBARS or super sticks or whatever you call them.

Hi.

Just curious. Growing up I wore out 3 pogo sticks. I don't have one right now; however, this post catches my attention. I'm not aware of what all is possible with a pogo stick, but now that I think of it I used to invent my own tricks. I could jump down the back steps, and I could jump rope with the pogo stick by holding the pogo with my knees and working the jumprope in the usual manner. I'm sure I would need to practice to re-gain that ability.

Pogo sticks are tons easier than unicycles. Are there some good reasons for taking up my childhood obsession again?

What types of pogo stick skills are you suggesting?

Now you have me thinking about purchasing a new pogo stick.

I especially liked the Blue Lips video, seeing many parallels between the pogo-ing and unicycling. Lots of very similar moves. But it started to get repetitive toward the end, and I was making up tricks that guy still needs to try. I was expecting him to do a kick-up, when he had it balanced over on an angle, but didn't bring it back upright using his foot...

So you can do cool stuff with a pogo stick, but like a beginning Trials rider, it's all hops. You never get to roll!

I like that idea quite a bit, but I have to improve my hopping first.
Then I will be able to have cake and eat it too!

Those guys are like the best of the best at pogo. I've dabbled in it a little bit, but it's just too high-risk for me.

the only time i used a pogo stick, i landed a 720 pogospin on it, and some other tricks, then i stopped using it cause i broke it and it wsn't mine :P

I would be open to playing after Christmas, because I am buying me a pogo stick, but it is going to be a flybar...However if the rules are change, I am game.

This is true actually. :p

But i was thinking along the lines of a unicycle that has a latch that would make the frame drop extra poles from the bottom of the forks to create the pogo unicycle. :D

I'll take an O for this one, my pogo can't handle big drops... I'm already over the weight limit! I'll do the flatland tricks though :p

I bet it could take it... you just have to extend then compress A LOT when you land then take a few really fast mini hops. Kinda like a big drop on a uni:rolleyes:

My friend has a pogo and we did shows at summer camp this year! We even made money! I juggled, unicycled, and solved the rubik's cube, he pogo-sticked, and my other friend did yoyo tricks! :D
