Oh man, it's been a long winter with not much riding.
Anyone else feeling a little out of shape after too much winter, too much candy and not enough activity?
That feeling was the catalyst for this cartoon.

It's pretty much a toss up between "I really need to get out and DO something!" and "Meh, I'm already on the couch, I might as well have another bunch of peanut butter cups and a few more cans of Dr Pepper... oh look! Mythbusters is on!"

Ha! Yeah, I feel like this sometimes. There's always a Stanley Cup playoff game to watch lately. I also think a bit of S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) set in with the late start of spring here in Seattle.

This is me, minus the sweets and soda, and add in some sandwiches and water. Sometimes I'm just tired, and even though I look at my uni's, and want to go ride them, I don't always. Which is interesting, because when I do ride, it actually gives me more energy and makes me feel better.

It's a constant battle, I think I am starting to win though.

I agree with the extra energy thing, Dane. When I do get up and get active, I feel awesome and always tell myself to remember that feeling next time I don't feel like doing anything, but my natural laziness always seems to creep back in. Hopefully now that the weather is getting better, going outside will seem more inviting. On the other hand, the new Mortal Kombat has been bugging me to play it, so... we'll see what happens there.

For me the secret is habbit - good and bad.

I go through phases.
-I force myself to get out and ride on a regular basis and that routine makes it easier the next time.
-I allow myself to get lazy a few times in a row and then it's real hard to get going. Then when I want to go Muni I can't and have to get into shape first (if I don't I ride like crap and have really bad UPD's).

Same, I now try to take a unicycle with me everywhere I go, and I almost always end up using it. But this doesn't work too well when you're at home being lazy haha

a good way to have some fun is to drive to you downtown and lay out a hat and make some money :)
