Sandgate (QLD, AUSTRALIA) Social Ride January 15th 2011

Unicycling activity has been quite low in South East Queensland of late.

To remedy that I will be dusting off a few unicycles and going for a ride on January 15, 2011. If anyone wants to join me here is my plan...

7AM - Big Wheel Ride
Meet at Sandgate (outside Hoffy Cycle Shop, near the rail station)
Ride along the Sandgate foreshore to the Shorncliffe Pier
Continue through Shorncliffe and follow the bike paths through Deagon before looping back to Sandgate.

8:30 AM - Bakery or Cafe for breakfast

9:30 AM - Find a nice spot to play some unicycle games, learn some tricks off each other and generally muck around for an hour or two.

As it will be riding in a public place and on some roads helmets will be required.

Wayne, im a young unicyclist/childrens entertainer moving out of home from the sunshine coast to brisbane and im so keen to meet other unicyclist's in the area. unfortunatly im in nepal until early Feb doing a charity unicycle adventure. My wife, 3 kids and I ride and are up in the noosa area. We ride tewantin state forest, various parts of the noosa trail network and mess around at Pomona and Cooran skate parks occasionally. We each have 26" and 20" unis. All welcome to join us anytime just send me a message. cheers Andy
