.. Just investigating the boundaries of MUni ....

Q1> anyone tried MUni with giraffe ? any success ? I think it would be
pretty cool...

Q2> is there such a thing as a giraffe with bigger wheel than 20" ? I have
seen the Roger Davies 24" Carbon Fiber giraffe in action, but apart
from that ....

... I am thinking of having a 4'/5' uni made with 26" wheel for off-road use.

Cheers

Q1> anyone tried MUni with giraffe? any success ? I think it would be pretty
cool... Over this summer, I camped in the Adirondacks mountains at Limekiln
Lake and mountain unicycled around the area with my 6'giraffe unicycle. It
is truely a more tiring task especailly when going up and down hills but
after a while, going over different terrain became quite easy.. with a
little practice of course!

Q2> is there such a thing as a giraffe with bigger wheel than 20" ? I bought my
giraffe used at local bike shop.. and it looks as though it was only ridden
once or twice. It has a sticker located on it that says: 'Mark of Quality
Bill Matthews Co. Laguna Hills, CA.' so its custom made for all I know but
it can accommodate a 24" wheel although I only have the 20" on it now.

Just thought I'd give a little input!

You must have missed me in the Muni race in Edinburgh, I did the race around the
lake and the hill climb race on my 6'er. Not bad, it was quite forgiving and
because it is light it hops quite well.

My homemade 6' has a 24" wheel.

The Semcycle giraffe comes with a 20" but can also accomodate a 24"

I regularly go off road on my crappy 5' Taiwanese giraffe. Not to do trails, but
when entertaining in fields and parks. I use a 20" wheel and often get hit by
low branches - Tah Tan Gah.
