Monotreal's Week-End 2010

Hey there everyone !!

We are so happy to announce to you this second edition of Quebec's unicycle club annual meeting : «Monotreal's Week-End 2010».

Where : In Montreal

When : From the 20th to the 22th of August 2010 !

Why : Because you want it !

What : The official schedule is about to come out soon, but here's what you can expect !

- Street competition at "Le TAZ (http://www.taz.ca/pls/htmldb/f?p=105:34:0::NO:::)'' indoor skate-park.
- Flatland competition at Mt-Royal lookout.
- Long & Hight Jump Competition.
- Rides in downtown Montreal !!
- Trial Competition (yet to be confirmed).
- Muni Competition (yet to be confirmed).

There will be a section for this event on our web site very soon !

We hope to see some of you this year !

17h00 - Depart time from subway station Mont-Royal, heading for Mont-Royal Lookout.
17h30- 19h00 - Flatland Battle competition, 1 vs 1, 3 minutes for each battle and 5 minutes for final.
19h00 - Downtown ride + diner.


// Saturday the 14th of August 2010 - AM & PM :

09h30-10h00 - Registration open + park open for practice at Le TAZ - Skatepark.
10h00-12h00 - Official Street Competition inside Le TAZ - Skatepark.
12h00-13h00 - Lunch.
13h00-14h00 - Depart time toward Oka National Park for Muni competition by minibus or car.
14h00-14h30 - Muni Competition at Oka National Park (Class Junior & 20").
14h15-16h00 - Muni Competition at Oka National Park (Class Expert).
16h30-17h30 - Back to Montréal for some game and ride at Parc Jarry (basketball, hockey, trial, street, and other games !).


// Sunday the 15th of August 2010 - AM :

09h00-10h00 - Registration open + Hight and long jump contest outside Le TAZ- Skatepark (it's time to warm up for the Speed-Trial competition).
10h00-11h30 - Opening of the Speed-Trial setup + Speed-Trial Competition outside Le TAZ - Skatepark.
11h30-13h00 - Closing Lunch + delivery of trophies, certificates and prizes.

12h00 - Ride toward Mont-Royal for Tam-Tam (drum jam), bring your instrument !!

I *might* be there, just to spectate... But no idea for certain... We're leaving next Friday for Ottawa, but with various stops in NH, VT, and Sherbrooke first... so who knows, I may even have forgotten about it by then, and with the lack of net access during the move ;)
