why longneck? what different?

why not long neck?

Long neck allows more adjustment in the seat post if you are tall and brings the seat post clamp up higher where it will not get in the way if you are doing tricks standing on the crown.

I don't think I could answer your question about favorite brand. My current favorite unicycle has KH, Nimbus, and Qu-Ax parts on it as well as parts from various bike companies and custom bits. I have other unicycles with parts from other unicycle companies as well and they all do their job.

long necks also take a lot of strain off of the seat post. It can also help you save a bit of weight.

I got a long neck about 3 months ago and I will never go back....

KH has done me pretty well over the years... I also had a bedford trials that served me super will for a long time.

I would love to try a Long neck Impact unicycle... when ever they become available....

Pretty much all pros who ride KH have long necks.

I dont think any other company makes a long neck frame other then KH and EB.
But I know that Impact is working up to it.

Nimbus did make a long neck, But they stopped I think... Its a shame a Cromo long neck would have been nice to have around for beginners.

It is very stable, as unicycles go. and so comfortable that I cant believe no on else has copied it yet. Nimbus has copied my Disc version already on thier 36" model!

Qu-ax has nice looking longneck frames, without those annoying wide bearing holders.

lol my trials uni is pretty much how I want it but I want to get tensiles and the try-all light tyre to complete it. I'm thinking of cutting my seat clamp in half but I just don't know.

My favorite unicycle brand has to be Kris Holm. He's the best innovator in the industry, leading the way for the other brands to follow! That said, many KH designs are collaborations with Nimbus, where Roger Davies also does tons of innovation, so that has to be my #2 brand.

Unfortunately I don't own any Nimbus or KH unicycles.
I have plenty of parts from both brands, but I don't think enough to call it that brand. My newest unicycle, which is currently being assembled by Bronson Silva, will be a mostly KH 36" with a KH/Schlumpf hub and the new Nimbus handle. I guess that'll finally be my first KH! :D Price? A lot. I don't even want to say...

Pretty much all pros who ride KH have long necks. In other words, even top unicycles are geeks, right? :)

my KH24. Mainly because its my first and only uni so far. Its an older model though, I dont know how old, but the crowns are flat with a bar of steel welded on at an angle if that helps anyone identify it for me.
