Ive been riding for 3 months and here is what i can do- RIde as long as i want, jump down a 2 ft drop, jump mount, jump up 2 pallets, 180 jump mount, and ride backwards about 2 rotations. DO you think i am all right for my time that ive been riding? Oh yeah, dont know if this is really reputable or not, but i can jump as long as i want on a uni on a trampoline. So yeah, would you say i fall above at or below the average 3 month rider? THanks

This is the only thing you should be doing trepper. It doesn't matter what skill level you are at. As long as you have fun and enjoy, then that is all that should really matter.

but to answer your question, yes. i have been riding for a few more months than you but am focusing on different things. i can ride backwards for as long as i want, for example. i can also ride SIF and SIB, as well as doing some jumping (about 9" max)

you can ride a unicycle,
I remember when that used to be enough.

Two people start learning. One practices 1 hour a week, the other 6 hours a day. At the end of 3 months, that's 12 hours versus 540 hours.

Comparing the skills of these two at the end of 3 months doesn't make sense without knowing the actually hours spent. But few people are punching in and out of unicycling like it's a job.

Based on the skills you've learned in 3 months, I'd say you're doing great! You must either be practicing many hours or focusing very well when you do practice. Either way you're persistence is paying off! Hope you're having fun!

Seriously? Do you keep a log of your riding hours?

I think it would be cool to have my own stats, but I haven't been logging them.
I do keep my blog fairly up to date. But if I'm just messing around in the driveway, I don't blog about it.

My GOD! You have got to be a NATURAL!

No one has ever made such rapid progress!

I cannot wait to see you compete at UNICON or NAUCC!

Undoubtedly, at this pace, you'll be taking many medals by July.

Keep it up!

Billy
