I think I need a paradigm shift on this one. I stand up on the pedals, pull seat
out to the back, move it over so it's on the side, and try to ride. Sometimes, I
get to where my leg scrapes the wheel. Sometimes. Help!

I'm starting to learn this too I was told it's easer to start going in a circle
with the seat in back and then go to seat on side because it's hard to ride seat
on side in a staight line Hope it helps
