Is it possible? I realize you'd need to extend your arms in front of you more
than usual, but could you really extend it far enough not to interfere with the
wheel while leaning back in the farthest position?

.sig would like to post also in rec.juggling, but poor Joe doesn't have a
newsgroup reader/poster. (Last he checked, he couldn't post through e-mail as he
can here.)

Yes.

Use a small wheel if possible, and learn to idle small! Then work your
way up to 7.

bounce juggling on a unicycle is pictured in the 1997 nuc issue of On One Wheel.
the picture is of cameron ulmer bounce juggling three while gliding, or
something. he is working on bouncing five while riding and is also working on
bouncing three while coasting foot out.

Actually, the biggest problem is your forward leg getting in the way. I solve
this by simply bouncing on the side of my body, rather than in front. I bounce 5
balls from a 6 foot uni.

Now, whipping a diabolo while idling, _that's_ awkward! ;) Hmm, actually, maybe
I could just keep it going around my leg... I'd have to ride one footed though.
I'll give it a try next time I'm feeling suicidal. ...JAG J Propagator of
