My pedalgrab is waiting in line at vimeo right now, I hope it counts, I don't have pallets so I used a ledge and bits of wood and I might have gotten the order of hops wrong. I'll post the link as soon as it's ready.

How do you guys grab your seat for sif hops? I just got a gravity frame:P, but with the thicker post I can't grab the side of the seat where the post is bc there's not enough room anymore so I can't hop as high anymore. Ive heard it's best to grab the back part thats behind the post, I'll probably have to get used to that. What do you guys do?

If that were the case only one person would be forced to move on. So I thought maybe the top 2 or even 3 should move on.

Edit: I've become curious of this because some of the riders make some of the more advanced tricks look really easy.

Jacob - hockey sticks are fine if they're long enough for you to get a whole rev on them and tall enough that your tire isn't touching the ground.

SkiLewis - we've been playing that anyone can join who wants to. This is the only trials game going and it's evolved from a beginner / intermediate game to an intermediate / advanced game (I think). Every round of this game I get pushed to try new things that I hadn't thought of and that I have to work at for a while to get.

The ethic of the game is that if you can do harder tricks, then you save them for late in the game where there are only a few people left.

Yeah I agree, It is ok if everyone is around the same level but there are some beginner riders that cant possibly learn some of these tricks in a week which doesnt make it fun for them.

Prob the best benefit to games like these is it pushes one to learn/master new skills that otherwise they may have taken months or years to try.

Even most of the easiest tricks in the beginer games seem way hard for me.
(Paralysis sucks. At least I can ride some Muni:o)

I worked on blind hops a bunch for james' trick and got a lot better at them.

If you can do a turnaround on a skinny, it's ok to do that and then do the hop to your good side. The ledge just has to start on your blind side.

I'd do it w/ more room for foot on frame tricks, kind of like the shape of the graph of Y=1/X^2. Also maybe make the top edges ridged kind of like the edge of a saw blade, instead of smooth like Colby's.

i think its something about 0.2 cm lower than it should be the skinny is not 7.4 cm high its 7.1 cm high it looks higher because of the camera angle.
And the skinny is also more then 3 cm smaller then it should be...

Aaah - sorry. I understand now. I'd just been looking the bar height above the ground because OUK called the trick out that way. You're saying it was 39 cm above the skinny so it should be ok?

So you only have to jump 65 cm high after the rev on the skinny ;)

You can get it by working up to it. Get good at pedal grabbing the skinny and going over. Then try to just tap the tire onto the skinny as you go over. Then try to land on the skinny.

I have to think about leaning back to the side I jumped from or I just end up going over it.

yeah right now i have a skinny mounted to the edge of my pallets and am working on it. i'm gettin better each day, but it's a damnnn tough trick. i've got to rubber on the skinny quite a few times but immediately bail. if i land it on the pallets ill move onto a real skinny

Before I was pretty good at them, but I've pretty much lost the feeling now :( Pedalgraps over are very easy for me because I dont need very much control for doing it ;)
I also tried to work it up by starting on one that is 37cm, but still just my balance in the pedalgrap so it was just as hard as the 65cm :p
