After spending many hours chatting with friends nostalgically about childrens movies and television series and noticing how enjoyable it is, i though maybe a conversation on here would be brilliant.
A lot of people would have grown up watching different movies to what I did as a child. Share your favourites.

These are a few i have watched recently.

Land Before Time !. Before it went rubbish.
Dumbo.
Pans Labarynth.

I just noticed there is nothing Australian there.. I guess i had Round the Twist for that, God I love that intro.

Ship to shore was also a good one.

But nothing came close to banana man.

there is too many to list.

Here're mine -

YouTube- Gummi Bears

Gummi Bears

YouTube- Bump In The Night - "Night of the Living Bread, Part I"

Bump in the Night - this is a really underrated series that got canned after 1 session and never made it to video release. It's my all-time favorite claymation.

YouTube- Animaniacs - Nations Of The World
Animaniacs...

Then there's Pinky and the Brain, The Simpsons (which is still on)...

Oh and this is very awesome

Also, when I was a kid BBC2 would show this kind of stuff over the summer holidays.
Bring it back I say!

Champion The Wonder Horse

Tarzan

Harold Lloyd

Flash Gordon

Laurel & Hardy

I'm so impressed with Jonny Weismuller's Tarzan yell that I'm going to try and get it as a ringtone.

And Terry, yes I suspect that's Vasquez Rocks in the titles of Champion The Wonder Horse.

I remember that I really liked this movie when I was a kid, but I watched part of it recently and I couldn't believe how terrible it was.

I grew up with tons of great black & white classics. Definitely MUCH more innocent, non-threatening, less controversial shows back then. These are just a few:

YouTube- The Adventures of Superman 1953 Previews

YouTube- Paul Winchell Jerry Mahoney Knucklehead

YouTube- Walt Disney's Zorro - Original Intro (Black & White)

YouTube- Soupy Sales - Pookie does Motown

YouTube- Leave It To Beaver

YouTube- Dobie Gillis opening

And I remember all of these!
