This is not the end of the world, Nao. This is simply an illustration of design with no thought given to forward compatibility.

as a total noob, i have no clue how to use google.

They're like Knorr (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knorr_%28brand%29) bouillon cubes. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OXO_cube)

So, Nao, what shape are they?

So, maestro8, why are you such a douchebag?

Not only that, but Smarties don't come in round tubes anymore.

And the lids don't have letters on them.

While I do hold a good amount of fluid, and I do have something of a nozzle, that is where the comparison betwixt the bag and I ends. Perhaps I've confused you in some way?

I don't often claim not to be confused but in this case I'll make an exception.

Fuck off, maestro.

Is this the "cleverness" of which you're speaking in the "good jokes (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75443)" thread?

Yeah, I'm not seeing it either.

Amaricans don't have OXO?

I think we still have cubes but we also have little packets like the seasoning in oriental noodles.

Why are we all hating on maestro?

If you read this thread, you'd see he called unibikeling a total noob, so Rapheal called him a name I won't repeat. To say they are "hating on" probably overstates the case.

They now have an "X" shape cross section. It is of course all about making the outside packaging look exactly the same, keeping the price unchanged, whilst reducing the actual content...and trying to look clever at the same time. It will be claimed as a marketing success.

As to the second question. Many reasons, again all due to a successful marketing campaign by the product.

I'm so lucky there's a big moat between Nao and I, 'cause otherwise I'd have her banging on my door every night. Girl, you're ferocious!

F** ***, maestro.

What a pleasant place this forum is for young people, and I am sure that parents and grandparents around the world can feel confident that their children and grandchildren can find harmless enjoyment here. Another thing I like about it is that anyone new to unicycling would come here and immediately find what a friendly and welcoming bunch we are, and would be sure to return.

I still have cube oxo cubes  Maybe they have just been in the larder for soo long that they are now obsolete.

I thought that the whole point of the cube was that they were the most compact shape to get a whole lot of bouillon in a small package.

I hate it when companies try to "improve" something by defeating the original purpose.

I sort of thought this was going to be like diamond shreddies
