MUni: 26" or 28" ?

It's well recognised that a MUni is 26", from what I can gather.

Does anyone use a 28" (700c) for MUni-ing, it strikes me that with long
cranks it would be possible to cover large distances with ease ?

I'm considering buying a 28"DM / 26" Pashley - neither of which I have ever
ridden, has anybody ridden both and able to compare ?

I'm a great believer in DM's and have a 28" one. It's MONSTER MONSTER and goes
like a rocket. With less than a years experience I can't do a free mount onto
it. The wheel is wider than a racer and smaller than an mountain. It rides bumps
and unevenness really well, but I've not been off road with it. Get in touch
and you're welcome to have a go...

I have ridden DM, Sem and Pashley 28" unicycles and they are fantastic on the
road as they have heavy rim/tyres and short cranks. I rode a 28" Sem off road
for the first time while at the Californian weekend, I am a convert, megga! but
it was non standard it was light weight and had 150 cranks. It could not do the
tricky stuff, party because of the reletively short cranks and extra mass on the
rim that reduced the speed of reaction. I am building a 700c carbon fibre uni
for my own use, the reason being that you can get good quatily light weight rims
and it is almost as big as a 28".
