As the title says what is your favorite wheel size? It does not matter what you use it for. For me it is my 29"

This is one of those threads where "because" would be helpful.

I own a 20" which is my favourite for performing because it is light, nimble and safe in crowds.

I own a 24 which is my favourite for Muni because it will roll over or through most stuff that I'm brave enough to try.

I own a 26 which is my favourite for a quick spin because it's less lumbering than the 24, and less responsibility than the 36.

I own a 28 which is my favourite for difficult riding on easy terrain because the tyre has no grip, the cranks are quite short, and the wheel is light.

I own a 36 which is my favourite for bombing about on wide tracks and open country because it's fast and rolls over stuff.

If I could only keep one of my current fleet, it would be the 24" Muni because that's my favourite style of riding.

If I could have only one unicycle and it was any unicycle I wanted... possibly a 26 or 29 Muni combining versatility with speed.

Yup, put this near the top of the "Pointless Polls" list. 20" for tricks/performing. 24/26" for MUni. 45" for impressing people. :)

Would you have more fun playing the whole course with a putter or a driver? Does anyone ever ask Tiger Woods this question?

No one that is really into uni riding in all situations has only one uni. I would say that a 24 muni hits the center sorta. 36's are just awesome and the little 19's rule.

I am not a very skilled rider (2 years), I am really happy with my uni stable. It is not that hard to learn to ride a 36. It is really fun to have a 24 muni and a 19.

Having a 19, 24 muni , and a 36, is what I would call a full bag. You can't really substitute one of these rides for the other.:)

Wheels are for sissies. I ride on a pair of cranks and, if I'm traversing particularly rough terrain, I may use an axle to smooth out the bumps. I used a saddle once but it was just extra weight so I abandoned the idea.

I think you are all over-thinking this. What is you favorite wheel size?
The question has nothing to do with unicycles.

Anyone know how big the average Ferris wheel is?
Or should I go with the hamster wheel?

My favorite unicycle wheel is adjustable in size.

It goes all the way from 22" to 30", so the average is 26"

Why measure an "average" ferris wheel? I like the London Eye (http://unicycling.smugmug.com/gallery/6387836_fNo2q#404021022_weUvs). It's got full-on spokes and everything! :)

They should put cranks, a frame, and seat on that thing!

If you are a speed freak like myself, then something with a bigger/larger tyre of 26" is necessary.

Well, my favorite size right now is the 26x3 equipped with a geared hub and a brake. If for some reason I could only keep one of my stable's unis (which is a terrible scenario) consisting of a 20", 24", geared 26", 29" and 36", the geared 26 would be the winner hands down. That setup is so versatile and allows for tons of fun on all sorts of trails, even on pavement. The only downside is its weight.
But as everyone else has been saying, they're all great for different styles of riding. My least favorite would be the 20", because I'm not into any of the trials, street, flat or freestyle stuff.

The question has nothing to do with unicycles. Someone gets it.

If Hung Like Saddam was refering to unicycle wheels, he clearly would have posted this thread in RSU.

I'd have to vote 29, as that is the closest to the 700c rims on my tandem.
