Good stuff. Now I feel like if I want to be that good I have to start filming in black and white, and use Drum'n'Bass or dubstep or something for the music.

Joe's sponsored by renegade juggling and they're the US k1 distributor.

Tight video. Who would want to be a gangster though? Selling drugs and getting shot or arressted doesn't sound to much fun to me.

Why hasn't someone mentioned his lack of rolling out on big drops?
He must break or bend rims like butter this way.
Someone should teach him the art of landing smoothly...
Other then that great stuff!

Loved the video but,

I don't really like pedal grabs and I don't really like drops. They looked harsh man. I saw him go to rubber at 2:50 or something, which was nice. It takes a lot of skill to pedal grab railings, and balls, I've neither yet, but it looks way more impressive when going to rubber.

Great edit and music, fit well.

yeah i really like his style, the way he drops is different. Seems to work for him though.

Fave part was the fire hydrent (sp?) for sure! ( ive never spelt that before, hahaha wierd)

awesome stuff man, cant wait to see more.

The music was epic.

Riding was good too, except less ungraceful pedal grabs and more rolling out of drops would have been nice to see. Every drop, it seemed like his rim would just flatten for sure.

that fire hydrant was soooo sick, there was like no surface area and such a wide tire... that was insane!

Jerrick
2009-04-14, 07:15 AM
Argh! You got to a hydrant before I did. Theres a line a few block from my house that goes, sidewalk, rock, rock, hydrant top, street that I wanted to put in a vid. Probably still will.

How your rim stays in one piece, im not sure. Same once since naucc right?

This was my favorite vid of yours.

I agree.
He squats before a big drop.
And the hydrant he kinda slides down onto the lip, which seems barely possible, and then onto the point.

I also got the impression he side hops with so much squat that the wheel is above his bum. But thats not possible.

unicyclerman

when me and joe do drops we do them completely sif. the reason our wheels dont get demolished every time is becouse we take all of the force through our legs and squat when we land. with a seat in drop we roll out but with big sif drops there is to much force to keep going upon landing. while we are on the topic does anyone know the highest anyone has landed a drop seat out to flat?

you need to stop being such a prick. so if you wanna start something with jarin do it to his face, not online. this isnt bike trials forums.
if you want to talk trash in a friendly way, back it up with real riding, which im sure you cannot do since you do have 8000 posts.
your lucky i even sent you a pm, and dont go thinking your something special because joe campbell sent you a pm.

My response.

Stop being an asswhipe. WHAT THE **** IS YOUR PROBLEM. I made one comment, get that ***** out of your ***.

'Teh interweb is serious business'.

I make one sarcastic comment and you go blowing your **** saying I'm lucky to get a pm from you? **** YOU. No this isn't OTN, but your still an over sensitive ***** about stupid **** and don't go talking about 'handling this like a man'. I can't ******* fight for ****, but that doesn't make you any less of a **** ******.

So what if I ******* suck? I can't even unicycle *******, so who cares? They are gay as **** and I'm happy I got a bike. I owned one torker which I sold.

Sincerely,

I love hostility :s

Also, love this video! landing drops sif makes alot of sence. It lets you take the energy caused by the downward moment in your muscles as aposide to rolling out, which carrys the vertical momentum into horizontal. both ways work, but bending your knees seems alot more efficient to me.

I'm quite surprised at the hostility here, to be honest...

I've met Joe in person, and it's hard for me to believe that he would even react that way. When I met him, I considered him to be amongst the nicer people that I have met through unicycling. I'm a bit skeptical to believe that he said such a thing simply from Wickedbob's comment on here. Did I miss something? From what I've seen, it seemed like Wickedbob wasn't being to much of a jackass, as some people can be, and was simply expressing what he didn't like about the video in an honest manner, perhaps even for the benefit of Joe (aka, possibly constructive criticism.). Seriously, did I miss something?

Edit: For what it's worth, I will say that in my opinion, trials drops look most graceful when done both SIF and with a nice rollout, like Fabian (I think it was Fabian, in that one Sinco Vid?), or Ryan Atkins I think also does that. Those drops are usually really nice looking and are probably best for the wheel, while seat in drops that are rolled out with can probably look just as good but usually not as graceful or good for the wheel.

Joe, from my experience here, and other places is a gigantic douche bag on the net, an extremely exaggerated egotistical prick. He always puffs is e-penis out and says that 'say it to my face' ghetto bullshit. I think his head is so far up his ass he can't realize the whole idea of the Internet is being able to share stuff without being face to face, and he can't take any remark at all because it's almighty Joe. Bite me. He was on observed trials asking what peoples names were and inviting them to fly out to him to fight.... this ass was being serious.

And yes, my comment is all it took for him to whip his e-penis out and start fap fap fapping. Then he tries to say he never said it? What the hell is that?

Bottom line/ He is a good rider and I enjoy his videos, but his ego is way to big, at least on the net, and he acts like a complete pompous asshole. Needs to be around people who don't baby his ass.

Dear Snuckums,

The offer is on the table Honey cakes, if you ever want to give me pleasure, I'm here for you.

OK everyone support the asshole.

I put pictures of the pm he sent me.

If Joe keeps this lie going he is an even bigger bitch then I thought. If you think I'm lying, which I can't even understand considering I posted screen shots, check this (http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showpost.php?p=583313&postcount=12) out. The thread is here (http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthread.php?t=41572&highlight=monty+Eagle+claw).

I'm done, Joe can bite me, and everybody can support who they want raging douche bag or not. Clearly by that thread and this one out sport would be better without people like joe.

He is sponsored right? I'm sure they would love to know what he is doing to improve our sport so much. Unicycling needs progressive people, not over sensitive retards with their head up their ass.

KTHNXBI

P.S. Everybody who thinks I'm lying can bite me too.:)

Already told Joe I couldn't go, but if I had cash I'd be on the first flight down there for it... but I'm flat broke and saving for NAUCC. I asked Joe if it was gonna happen again next year and he wasn't sure. I hope it does I'd be down there for sure. Planning on going down there before next year sometime though haha
