How about a glossary for newbies. I've got no idea what backflips, treyflips, fakieflips and any other flips are.:confused:

For some reason Wikipedia has been changed and it doesn't have a list of tricks anymore....


Here are the basic flip tricks:

180 flip- A crankflip and 180 hoptwist
hickflip- A crankflip and 180 unispin
Sex change- A crankflip and 180 bodyvarial
Smallflip- A crankflip, 180 hoptwist, and 180 unispin
Outflip- A hickflip done from seat in (si) to seat in front (sif)
Varialflip- A smallspin done from seat in (si) to seat in front (sif) (or an outflip and 180 hoptwist)
Treyflip- A crankflip and 360 unispin
Inward smallflip- A crankflip, 180 badyvarial, and 180 unispin
Fifthflip- A crankflip and 540 unispin

Backflip- A crankflip where the cranks flip backwards
Fakieflip- A backflip done riding backwards
180 back(flip)- A backflip and 180 hoptwist
Hickback(flip)- A backflip and 180 unispin

Doubleflip- A crankflip that flips twice
Doubleback(flip)- A backflip that flips twice
Hickdouble(flip)- A doubleflip and 180 unispin

Lateflip- A crankflip done late; the rider jumps up and waits a little bit before flipping the cranks
Lateback(flip)- A lateflip with the flip backwards
Latefakieflip-A lateback done riding backwards
Fakielateflip- a lateflip with the ridier riding backwards (but the cranks flip foward)
180 lateflip- A lateflip and 180 hoptwist

Trey sideflip- A crankflip and 360 sidespin
