The inventor of Google? Or was it Wikipedia?;) Or was he the ancient Roman god of general knowledge?:rolleyes:

He was a top Olympic decathlete. His career fizzled out when he was more or less retired and failed a drugs test.

The choice of Daley Thompson for the thread was simply a play on "Daily Bible verse" and "Daily limerick".
