26 or 28

The 28" that semcycle manufactures is the "XL" which is substandard in
my opinion as compared to their regular unicyle... I have some friends
that weren't satisfied with this type of unicyle.. so make sure that you
confer with someone before buying.. I apologise to all those I just
offended by saying that the XL is not my favorite :-)

Since I made the original suggestion, I'll add some comments. If I were buying a
24" or a 20", I would buy a standard Semcycle. I've tried one and it felt the
best of any unicycle I've ridden. It does not come in a 28" model though.

Since I've had mine, I have had two problems. The first one involved a loose
crank arm, a common XL problem. I sent it back to the vendor, who replaced
the arm and torqued it down real hard, and I've had no problem since. After a
year or so I had squeaky bearings, but after putting in some bike grease they
were fine.

Otherwise it has worked very well and I'm happy with it. I use it on roads and
bike trails and it barrels along. I use it for almost all of my riding. I only
use the 24" for tricks and racing.

Having said this, there are other 28" models available. I've seen a 28" DM, and
it looked nice and solid, perhaps more so than my Semcycle.
