Just wondering who else has their album. Awesome album, totally reccomend it. To be honest, soad have nothing on scars.

For you queers that don't know about scars, its Daron Malakians new band (guitarist/vocalist from system of a down). Metal/prog rock/punk rock I'd say.

There are lots and lots of awesome bands. I would need to work about 70 hours a day if I wanted to buy all the music I liked.

And "awesome band" is nearly not enough of a review/recommendation to get me to buy a CD. Unless it's coming from a person whose musical taste I really trust. I'm not sure whether I could count up to five people like that. So, nah. Screw Scars On Broadway.

In this case I'd rather forget about it than buy it. If I'm gonna buy an album it will be from some artist that's not very well know, but is amazing. Like Shpongle. Or some stuff from Ninja Tunes records. To support them. SOAD is part of a giant corporation music industry. Screw them.

While we're on the subject, I'm ashamed to admit that one of the only albums that I bought was SOAD - Steal This Album. Although, it is a solid album, I should've nicked it from the shop like a true ninja.

I just listened to the song samples at Amazon. The music is mastered by deaf people. The band is deaf. The music is just one big blast of constant noise. Totally destroyed by the loudness war (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudness_war).

Anyone who actually likes listening to music like that is deaf, an idiot, a stooge, stupid, hates their mother, has no idea that loud music can actually sound good and have dynamics. The music as it is recorded is just crap. Utter complete crap.

Don't buy it. Don't even download it. Save your ears. Save your senses.

Daron wrote the best SOAD songs IMO. And he's just a better musician. I've only heard a few songs from Serj's solo album but I didn't like them much.

Not that I've heard scars on broadway.
