uni to high school problems

My brand new seat was slashed today by some high school punks! I take my uni
everywhere -it's my main source of transport. I ride it to my high school.
I've been locking it outside but the seat's been slashed on seveal occasions.
Is there a case (like a cello case) designed for a reg. uni? Or some other way
I could prevent this vandalism? Is it OK to wheel it around to my classes?
What did you all do as high school cyclists? And what did you do about those
buggers who want to try the unicycle? Should I let people try, or could they
hurt my baby?

To deal with the slashing of the seat, you could get a quick-release, and just
bring the seat in to classes with you. I bring my uni into my classes all the
time (I'm in college), but in your high school this may not work so well. In
high school I didn't ride to school, but in junior high I did, and there was a
bike room, where I left my uni. As for the people who ask to try it -- I say let
them (unless you're in a hurry). It's unlikely that they'll harm it in any way.
Probably they're just trying to show off, and they'll usually fail miserably. I
always find it rather amusing, myself. :)
