nope, in germany you can start with driving lessons when you´re 16 1/2 and get it with 17 than you can drive with one of your parents next to you and the moment you have birthday and are 18 you are allowed to drive alone, it´s pretty cool but my father didn´t allow me to make it with 16 to have it with 17 so i started in feb. i now will first get the one you get with 17 so i can drive the few days until i´m 18, so i won´t miss practice :)
