ok so there's a story behind mine. one day i was sitting in math class talking to my friends and not paying attention as usual. out of nowhere the wierdo of the bunch starts telling us this story about when he was young he found a box of kittens out in a field. he started taking care of them but they were all nasty with ticks and stuff. one day his wierdo dad found the box of kittens and knew they had to be put down. instead of taking them to the vet as a normal person would, his dad put rocks in the box and threw it in the creek out back of their house. so here comes the birth of my username. one day i was playing halo with my friends as we did often because there is nothing else to do in the small town of turner. we were giving our friend crap about the kitten thing and so i made a guy called catinabag. then a few days later i got xbox live and the name stuck with me. i dont remember why i added a 1 at the end but i did. now i use catinabag1 for everything, even my email.

I don't know if a thread like this has been started before...

And you won't know if you're too damn lazy to even attempt a search to find out. Took me all of about 10 seconds to type in "user name story", click search, and find the real thread (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46955&highlight=user+name+story) on this topic.

C'mon littleman, at least pretend to make an effort.

Ah you got me. But I mean come on what is with you guys always bringing up the search button. And taking the time to look for an old thread, just to shoot down all my hopes and dreams. I'll be back in a little while, I'm gonna go cut myself.

i did write a children's book one time for psychology class. it was called "my spoon is too big." yes it is a spoof of that youtube video. it was about a dog who couldn't eat his cereal because his spoon was too big and he called another dog to help him. anyway i had to read it to first graders.

Why pay money to kill cats when you can do it for free? Still, drowning them probably isn't the most humane way to do it.

I first used this username when I created my MSN account last winter. I wanted something with my name in it and I didn't unicycle last winter so skiing was my favourite sport. Now I use it for everything online.

Unisykolist
2008-07-12, 06:15 AM
My first name was "Uni Tricks" on the forums because I just found out how many tricks you could actually do on a unicycle so I just called my self Uni Tricks. Then I thought that was gay after a while and was really a name so I changed it to "Unisyko". But within a few days someone said it could get mixed with other usernames cos theres people with names like "unipsyhco" and "Yunisyko". So then I changed it to "Unisykolist" I thought that was cool because it was just about the same as my Unisyko name and it sounded like "unicyclist".

C-ZER

Well I feel ashamed. I lied about my name. I really don’t think I should tell any of you what it is. That is for a good reason. And there is quite a long story behind all of it. Without going into any detail it all started about three years ago. One day I was walking through a dog bog bear footed. And I stepped in a pile of gorgon drool. The drool was just beginning to congeal so I knew that the gorgon had to be somewhere nearby. I was not afraid because I had been in much worse situations before. I knew that is the gorgon knew I was there it would try to capture me and do whatever it is that gorgons do when they capture you. So I began to run as stealth fully as possible trying not to attract any attention when I stumbled upon a cottage. It was a small cottage and the inhabitants were not home. I went inside and found three bowls of porridge. I was quite hungry so I decided to eat the porridge. I got a spoon and tried the first bowl. It was too hot the second bowl was too cold but the third bowl was just right. So I ate it and left because I am not goldilocks. I began traveling through the bog once more. When I got to the end of the bog I found a road. I fallowed the road all the way to Rome. Where I was incarcerated and forced to become a gladiator. I was the best gladiator Rome had ever seen. And Caesar made me fight until I killed every last dodo bird and that is why they are extinct. And then one day I finally won my freedom. As soon as I did I went and talked to brutes. Then he killed Caesar and I assumed leadership of Rome under the assumed name of Augustus. Then after I screwed things up I knew what I did was going to lead to the fall of Rome so I got into my time machine and came back to reality where my name became Caesar and it’s pronounced like C and ZER so I used the name C-ZER.

The End

Oh, I see, (I think). The original thread is not as real as the later thread, because the later one forms a link to this new (lame) one. Being a link between the original and the lame is more important than being the original. (that is my understanding of what you said, I don't know if that's what you intended to say)

Not sure if this has already been covered, but I chose mine so the guy you meet at conventions would be the same guy you read on the forums. There are a bunch of people I've meet at conventions and other events now, that I still only know by their screen names.

Also I kept it lowercase and no space because I didn't know if the interface would accept caps and spaces and I guess I was too lazy to find out. I'm still yelling at one of my banks for only allowing me an 8-character PASSWORD (instead of my usual 9). How retarded is that?
