Here's a article I got in a newspaper about a month ago:
A suicide bomber blew herself up yesterday as Iraqis celebrated their 2-1 victory over China in a match for the World Cup. The blast killed one and wounded 29 others. Thirty-nine others were wounded by celebratory gunfire after the soccer match.

Maybe Hawaiians are more laid back than the rest of us, but there are often riots after large scale sporting events even in the U.S. Aside from the suicide bomber, this doesn't strike me as much different.

It's funny; but it's more of a disgusted laugh with a sad shake of my head.:(

...I guess so. I lived here 18 years and I haven't heard of one person wounded from celebratory gunfire
