Your over thinking this. You have made 72 threads. There is no way that even half of those were useful or needed. click on the color code thing (black or something to get the coding up, and then erase whats in the quotation marks, (the color black has these for its color code), and put in f0f0f0 for the color code. It turns the color of the background.

f5f5f0 is not invisible. If it appears invisible to you it is because your monitor is poorly calibrated.

You shouldn't be able to see F0F0F0 text against a F0F0F0 background.
Maybe your monitor is doing some dithering. Maybe font smoothing is causing some strange artifacts that are making the text visible. Most LCD monitors do cheat and dither colors. They don't show the full 24-bit color range. They only manage a fraction of that and get the other colors by dithering and cheating. Maybe F0F0F0 manages to hit one of the magic dithered colors for your monitor causing the text to be very slightly visible?

Another possibility is that you are not using the default Unicyclist.com color scheme. If you're using the vBulletin 3 color scheme then the background color for regular text is #F5F5FF and the background color for quoted text is #E1E4F2.

What background color do you see for quoted text? If it is a light blueish rather than white then you're using the vBulletin 3 color scheme.

Today I went on a nice short 18 mile ride along the beach. It was very nice. i averaged about 6 1/2 miles per hour, Not too slow but slow enough to enjoy the scenery and the nice scent in the air after the rain last night. I did it alone and it was very enjoyable.

whoops. That was a mis-calculation. I averaged 7.2 mph and that was including the short rests i took and walking to the end of the pier and back. ( you can't unicycle on the pier :()

Highlight someone else's text, copy and paste it into the text box when you hit reply, start typing your comment immediately after the last letter of what you pasted, then go back and delete their message. It sounds complicated but it really is much quicker. It just takes whatever color they used and applies it to your text. After you delete theirs, yours is still that color.
