29 inch tire for road [Archive] - Unicyclist Community

I have the nimbus 29er with the Big Apple tire standard with purchase but I am to into distance racing and need a better tire for road. Any recommendations?:D

I got a big apple on my 29er and have logged roughly 250 miles on it no prob. I have no idea how many miles the previous owner put on it but I'm sure it was a few. I don't know exact mileage, as I don't use an odometer anymore. I just ride to ride.

When it comes time for me to build a new wheelset, I will probably use the big apple. for me, its a decent road tire, a bit wide, grips the street well...not sure if I can find a flaw with it. My only problem is with the tube, it has a really slow leak. But the tire performs very well on the road.
