A month or so ago I ask for help on the transition from 1 foot idling to 1 foot
riding. "Thank you" to the people that responded. I have made progress. I can
now make this transition maybe 70% fo the time (on a good day) and from there it
is pretty easy to continue 1 foot riding. Probably the best advice I recieved
was just to keep trying. I should have this down solid soon.
Also some questions on giraffes. I just finished building my 6ft giraffe. If you
remember sometime in the July time frame I asked people to measure the
dimensions of their giraffes. Well mine is now done. It turned out really nice
and was lot's of fun to build. So...
1) How do I learn to ride this thing? Any advice? I don't have any place at the
present where I can ride it indoors. And it has been pretty cold outside. I
do have 1 spot in my house where the ceiling goes up to a 10ft peak and I
have climbed up on the step ladder and onto the giraffe. I can idle pretty
well this way and have practiced jumping down. It does seem pretty scary.
Assuming I can find a place to practice how should I go about it?
2) How tight should I keep the chain? I have chain tighteners installed and can
tighten up the chain to almost any point. How tight does it need to be?
