This is kind of a waste of a thread. I was expecting to see the 08 in full, not that it is "kool kool kool" (love the k, makes it even kewler).

UDC put some QU-AX unicycles on sale... Maybe they are selling out old unis to get the new ones...
I saw this frame in Kahero Website:
QU-AX Alu Frame (http://www.kahero.com/boutique/fiche_produit.cfm?type=19&ref=UC2208-09&code_lg=lg_fr&pag=1&num=8)
I think that i saw Lucas riding this frame in one of his videos...
Is this frame new? I had never seen it!

The quax alu frame is pretty old (around 2005 - 2006)
Weight is about 800g as far as i know.
There may be a few one for sale out there, but Quax stopped the production.

Um I don't know that they are 2008 models necessarily, but the newer ones are already out and being being sold.
Main difference is, they converted the 10 Spline yellow hub to ISIS, and they now have a good set of nub-less ISIS cranks to go with it.
Also some stuff like, the reinforced alloy seatpost...

seems like quax is behind then in Uni tech?

Quax are the strongest (exception of triton sponge). So no. They are ISIS, and have never been broken I believe.

Francisco from Brazil broke a QU-AX rim riding here with me and Picado. But I think that QU-AX replaced the rim with no costs :D
But i never heard about a broken frame...

Not really, they just aren't aiming for the top spot, they cover a good middle ground.
Their seatposts are also the best out there pretty much, as are their chromoly hollow cranks.
Qu-ax just aren't the most pushy.
To me the only thing holding them back is also helping them which is the fact that they use 48 holes. I would love to have a good Qu-ax uni, but I don't like 48 holed hubs and cranks. On the flip side though, alot of people love 48 holes, and they have the market cornered.

i have a 24" qu-ax muni and it is great it is slightly heavy but to be honest you could eat a big meal on a lighter uni and it would be the same (ish)

i ususally don't really like qu-ax unis, i just depends what you're doing with it...
but i had a qu-ax alu reinforced seat post and they're just awesome, cheap and really strong but i sold it cause i got back my miyata carbon fiber saddle

Their cranks are nice my complaint about them though is the extra metal sticking out the side. I think I'm gonna shave it off. Do you guys think it would affect the cranks integrity?

Nope, A couple of us have shaved off the nubs on our old qu-ax cranks. You have to get a different crank bolt though. The bolt for the 2004 KH works,

I'm gonna shave mine then. I've already hit the nub quite a few times.

Splined ones, yes, isis, No. I have a quax uni, no nubs. If you want I can even post pics later.

I have the isis cranks. They have a nub you can gring down. Or do you mean where the pinch bolt goes? I'm speaking of where the crank bolt goes, there is a collar of extra metal on the quax cranks.
