So it came out last night. And its pretty freakin sweet. The driving is a bit more sensitive and takes a bit of getting used to, but the protagonist, Nikko, is a pretty cool character so far
Anyone else play yet?

I managed to get a PS3 copy, but don't have a PS3 yet. I want one before all the parents start getting thier panties in a wad and make Rockstar pull it off the shelves for a more "kid friendly" copy.

Would you gamers mind putting (GAME) in your thread titles or something? I'm tired of clicking on threads with titles I don't recognize as games only to find out it's just about yet another game, instead of what is also implied by the subject.
That said, Gta 4 doesn't imply anything else, but I didn't know it was a game either...

Do we need to put (MUSIC), (POLITICS), (JOKES), (VIDEOS) and such in every other thread title now? I didn't realize Gilby imposed a new rule on the forum.
This is quite a slippery slope here... the next thing you know, we'll have to post the entire thread in the title.
I'm tired of clicking on threads
That explains why you're a little grumpy. Take a nap. You'll feel better and be able to click with ease.

it does look pretty awesome, but its an 18 and my parents dont like gta games, because theyre full of guns, drugs and prostitutes. but you have to be quite stupid to think you can do the stuff you do in the game in real life too. is it out for ps2's at all? i hope so

That explains why you're a little grumpy. Take a nap.I took a ride instead. I feel much better now. Now let me see... Yup, still hate meaningless thread titles (they generally should be short sentences), still think it's rude, and still will continue to request better titles. But I feel much less grumpy after my ride, which included a 5 mile section averaging 15.8 mph!
I'm surprised you don't agree with me on this. Maybe you need to get out for a ride too?

I'm surprised that any Internet user doesn't know what GTA stands for, especially with all the media hoopla about video game content.
I've played a GTA game exactly once in my life. I didn't get it. Games just aren't what they used to be.

well GTA 3 set the bar for every game made after it. when the first one came out it was a huge leap forward.. I know what your saying about games now adays but some of the new stuff is still good... From what i have played, i think they have tried to ween the prostitution out a bit and the have focused alot on story and physics. well thats all have gotten out of like an hour of play

Oh, Grand Theft Auto! Piece of cake if it's IN CONTEXT. Not all by itself in the thread title.
My mom went to college at U of M. Any questions? At least I mentioned it was a college.
Does RTL stand for Right to Life or Ride the Lobster? CONTEXT. Or does it stand for the big RTL Media Group, or Register Transfer Level, or Ride the Lightning (Metallica album)?

Ride the Lightning (Metallica album)?
That's actually the first thing I thought of when I read 'RTL' - well, the song, not the album.

yes i've played MTA SA (multi-theft auto san andreas) and the version for Vice city. MTA SA is a driving game only, it works remarkably well over the net, with intricate user created maps. The VC version i've only played across my LAN and it was shocking, essentially a first person shooter but with such bad lag that it was worthless.
