EDIT: I agree with the aggressiveness and speed in the riding now. So much whip to everything instead of landing a trick, riding kinda slow to the next trick, its just full into one trick, speed right off into the next, and its still smooth.

I didn't think my part was that good either. I forgot to mention that during most of the time, I didn't have a workable uni. I popped way too many tubes and my tire kept popping off the rim. This was filmed on just a couple of riding days. When I get my new uni and camera, expect amazing things ;)

Yeah that 3 over the bench took a few tries. However my legs are weaker now than they were then, so it would be even trickier now. the 1.05 m up was solid, however single ups don't interest me to film, so I don't do any ups just alone in videos.

Pretty sweet dude. Shauns part was awesome as usual but I agree with lutz, you should defiantly incorporate more obstacles in your lines to mix it up abit. Kellys part was great also, its annoying that it was squashed. Can you post it up on its own so its not squashed? I really liked the quick aggressive feel of it. The sex-change from the grind was so nice, probably my favourite trick of the whole vid. Spencers part was amazing, his riding always baffles me. Im jealous of his 360s from 1ft ww. I can still only get 180s, I cant ever seem to get enough height and spin.

I must say, this thread has shocked me quite a bit. I can see all sides of this argument, but I must say you are all starting to sound like skateboarders talking shit about baseball fields (Spencer is the only one who knows what I am talking about...)

1. I believe that everyone should say things exactly how they believe them, Andrew is entitled to any opinion he desires, and should feel free to express this opinion.

2. Enough with all this tough-talking "I just feel like offending you because you just offended me" shit. Again, say what you like, but eh, whatever say what you like, I'll just think of you as immature.

3. How in the hell did hats get into the conversation? I don't see why it is fair to judge one on what hat they wear and how they would like to wear it. (I personally like to wear my hat slightly diagonal so that it's almost completely forward, but slightly to the right. Does that change me in any way? No. Neither does it change Shaun. He can go ahead and wear his hat however he feels like, as should the rest of you)

4. Though sucking balls is a very strange term to describe someone's riding, I'll just let that one go since it is a common figure of speech (I'm being enough of a smartass already ;) )

5. I don't see why anyone would think that Kelly Hickman was a terrible rider. There are plenty riders that are much much worse, and I think that he is much closer to the top than the bottom. One would hesitate before calling him the best rider, (I certainly don't think he is) but he is a very good rider and may be the best in some areas (come on, he 180s out of grinds like a champ, though his tech is nowhere close to say, Krisztian Kovacs). If you don't like his style, that doesn't mean he's bad. That is like saying Ryan Woessner (Smiley, probably the world's best freestyler) sucks because he can't do a fifthflip... Regardless, I think he is far from the best, but even further from the worst.

6. What's up with the assumption that if one person is the best then that means that everyone else is worse than they are? I see this all the time in football/baseball/basketball/you name the annoying professional team sport. Two people would be arguing about what team is best by dissing each other's favorite team. Mariners Suck! No Yankees Suck! come on... they are both good teams, otherwise they wouldn't get payed millions of dollars a year. Maybe Yankees are better than the Mariners, but that's no reason to diss the Mariners. And my god WHO CARES! DO YOU EVEN KNOW ANYONE ON THE TEAM?!?! watch it for the enjoyment, don't throw a fit every time your favorite team loses. It's just a game. Go ahead and have fun watching it. I've always liked how Unicycling Society isn't like this at all and everyone is encouraging to one another, but apparently, times have changed, and this too has become a dog-eat-dog sport...

7. I can kind of understand Shaun's whole "going pro" movement. From what I understand, he really wants to continue riding, and it seems like the only way he will have time for that is if that's also part of his income. I can understand. I think it would be much better if he would find a way to not sell his riding out and not be restricted to Top Ramen, but hey, that's better than quitting unicycling altogether (which seems like a popular thing to do recently). In any case, I am quite sure he still rides partially for the fun of it. Otherwise, why be excited for NAUCC?

8. Shaun is guilty of getting to defensive, yes I agree. I was shocked at his response to Andrew. Sure, Andrew was being a bit extreme and offensive, but such a response is uncalled for. Andrew, you go ahead and continue Unicycling as you please (though I doubt Shaun convinced you to quit). If Andrew’s comment was so redundant and insignificant, why would we care if he continued to ride and continued to post “Kelly Hickman sucks balls” if it doesn’t matter? Go ahead, and post away man.
