Hey, I was wondering if anyone here was interested in making some sort of online radio station, or at least some sort of weekly podcast?

I made podcasts a while ago for a forum I used to belong to, and I feel like doing it again for this one.

Would anyone be interested in listening to podcasts with music, uni-news and various other things?

If you want a sample of what I've done before, here it is: http://djcoretechs.drackir.com/Podcasts/

Please post about what you'd be interest in listening to with a weekly or bi-weekly podcast.

i think it wuld be cool to listen to,

You could talk about the newest gear and who has one the lastest competions national and by state, maybe some of the mos uni frendly skateparks in US, that culd be hard so u could have listeners send in emails to how good there skatepark is and you culd talk about them on the radio

It'd be kinda hard with everyones differen't tastes in music. I'm not one of the metal/punk varity and I know that some people here really dig jazz and stuff. You might want to take a poll of what most people here like and mix it in the podcast so everyone has something they like or discover something they would like!

It's a great idea!

You might want to take a poll
Polls are useless.
This thread's been done before.
Use the search feature.
blah blah blah
etc. etc. etc.

Most of your posts seem to be useless, but I keep reading you.

I would post the podcast on page similar to the example I posted in the thread. The Podcasts will be dated and will stay on the website as mp3s, ready for download whenever you want to listen to them.
Also, if you use Firefox, you can listen to them directly inside the browser if you like.
It'll be a few weeks before I can post the first one, I need to get a new mic, then I'll get right on making some podcasts with what I have.

If you wish to request music for me to play, email me the music directly, or just tell me at djcoretechs@gmail.com.

I'm thinking the podcasts will be about half-hour segments. They may end up a little longer.

Alright, maybe we can work together on this some how? In a few months, I am going into a radio broadcasting course where I should have virtually all the equipment I need to make professional quality shows.

I don't know how long it'll be before I'll be able to use the equipment by myself, but I may have the ability to record call-ins if I schedule them right.

exactly because we all know that's where the cool people like me hang out, anyway yeah a podcast for the forums would be awesome it would be easier for me to listen to that then trudge through the forums leaving me more time to lurk in MR(Most Replys!!!!)
