DQ makes you sick

Every time i eat at Dairy Queen I feel like I'm going to puke. :( Does anyone have this same problem or have an answer to why only those burgers make me sick? Dairy Queen is evil!

I get sick when I eat anything these days. DQ doesn't make me sick(er) than anything else does. They might put something in the food that doesn't sit well with your stomach. I'd avoid it if I were you.

I dont think DQ shuold serve hotdogs and burgers, its just wrong, lets make more use of a cow, and stuff... i just dont like the idea, i dont want meat in my ice cream

same with KFC, i dont want mash potatos there, i want chicken, also not corn or anything other than chicken.

KFC sells other stuff because thats what goes with the chicken. Any true southern chicken meal comes with corn, mashed potatoes, cole slaw...etc..it sells more than just the chicken, but the whole meal.

DQ probably sells burgers and hot dogs just to add to their menu so people have more choices. I just don't order it. It's like Long Horn Steakhouse sells fish. I would not order fish at a steakhouse. Why? Because a steakhouse specializes in steak, not fish. I personally don't think DQ is the best for ice cream. I like Marble Slab A LOT better...

But so far I'm not aware of them making inroads against any of the big burger chains (or little ones for that matter).

So based on your logic of KFC selling only chicken (anything to drink?), DQ selling only ice cream, etc., should McDonalds sell only fries, or burgers? My vote is for the fries. Fortunately most people prefer a choice.

I'm not from NH. Secondly, I'm aware that certain commericals are local. We get a lot of commercials for checkers. We don't have one in our area, but the major city where all the local news stations are have tons of them. I think it's odd that DQ only sells burgers in certain parts of the country, but not others....

Most places do. Is DQ the only place this happens. I get violent stomach aches after eating greesy foods from anywhere. If it's strictly DQ, I'd not go there. If it's something that happens often see a Dr.

Wow, is Dairy Queen still around and kicking? They closed down what I think was the only Dairy Queen in Slovenia (I might be exaggerating a bit, but I have never seen one anywhere else) around 8-9 years ago. I don't really remember the food much, but I would love to eat there, just for nostalgia's sake once.

Yeah, the commercials are kinda creepy. It's like this set of red lips on a black background with big white teeth that tell you to get either the single or double burgers or some cookie shake or something....it's just the lips, nothing else.

You guys need to get out more often. In small town America the DQ is sometimes the ONLY restaurant in town. They will have a DQ long before a Pizza Hut or McDonalds. The DQ is usually the hot spot in town and it is where the teenagers go every Fri and Sat night to "cruise" (which means sitting around the DQ parking lot with your hood up)

Check with your health codes in OR, there may be a reason you get sick everytime.
