I love the Temple of Doom. Its screen effects haven't aged well, but when I was a kid that just didn't matter. When I recall the Great Moments of Indianna Jones, they're largely in TOD, or Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Am I really the only one that thinks this one is going to suck compared to the first three? The preview for this one looks wayyyy over-the-top. What I love about the first three is that the actiony scenes are awesome, but they're not totally contrived. The preview for this one makes Indiana Jones seem much more like James Bond...

We'll see, I suppose.

I like that they kept the film/set style the same as the old ones. They didn't try to modernize it like they did with the 3 star wars prequels. It never made sense that they technology was better i nthe first 3 than the 2nd three, chronologically.
I'm excited. :)

Old movies use effects that look dated? Wow!
Wait 20 years or so and look back at Lord of the Rings and other current movies with big effects. They'll all look dated as well.
