I bumped into Michel Arrets (one of the riders on the above trip) last month.
From memory, this is what he told me:
They used standard DM 28" unis with standard DM contour saddles [some testament
to the comfort of that saddle]. Michel assesses that it should be possible to do
the same route around three days quicker as they were a bit disorganised
(camping and they lost the support vehicle at one point).
Maybe I will try to mount another attempt as advance publicity for UNICON
VIII. Julian, are you volunteering to take part????
