Hello Stacy,

In Dutch it's "eenwieler" (een = one, wiel = wheel). In German the word is
"Einrad" (Ein = one, Rad = wheel), but you must have known that!

Why not... In Spain its a 'monocicleta.'

Actually in Spanish is Monociclo. Uniciclo is also used, probably due to English
influence. In Puerto Rico we use both as synonims. Alberto Ruiz Ruizb@aol.com

Well, I don't know WHAT cha'll speak in Puerto Rico... :) Spanish varies more by
location than any language I've ever known, and I can't comprehend a word of it
outside of Spain. But in Spain, they do call it a monocicleta. I'm a little
curious about -ciclo, that looks more Latin than bicicleta.
