About smoking: if I see *anyone* light up, I immediately assume that their IQ is lower than mine. [This is an immediate turn off in the case of girls (for me).]

Obviously this is unfair. One of my closest friends is a megabrain philosopher, but used to smoke a lot, and sometimes still does. But it is my initial reaction nonetheless. The health information is out there.

I experience a certain amount of schadenfreude when I inform smoking teenagers of my absolute certainty that they will regret taking it up within only a few years, and that they will then spend years fighting the addiction.

Judging by what I've seen and heard of firemen, their most common reason for injury at work is breathing smoke. Breathing smoke is bad for you, pretty much any way you look at it. For medicinal purposes breathing the smoke may be preferrable to your other problems, but otherwise it just seems like a very bad idea.

But whereas a refrigerator is much less a lifestyle thing, and whereas refrigerator buyers may be more women than men, there might be better ways to sell one. But when it comes to lifestyle stuff (like cars, which people buy more for penis enlargement than function), there aren't as many features to list off in your advertisement, that's for sure!

Exactly the same as I do about guys smoking: they are very welcome to smoke as long as 1) they don't smoke in my house, 2) they don't smoke in my car, 3) If they stink of tobacco, they keep their distance from me.

Thankfully I no longer have to tolerate them in pubs, clubs, offices and restaurants in the UK. I no longer have to wash clothes simply because I have been near a smoker for a few minutes.
The worst I really have to suffer now is the gaggles of goose brains I pass outside shops, offices, pubs and clubs. But keeping my distance at least keeps the stench to a minimum.
With those restrictions smokers should have the same freedom to try and damage themselves as I have in trying to damage myself falling off the unicycle.

this is a little late to say this but, ima have to agree with JP....audrey hepburn, and anything she does is both elegant, attractive and stimulating. she is all that a female should be.

so, while i wouldn't want a female i care about to smoke, because it is bad for her, it is not necesarily a turn off, if done in an elegant, audrey like way.
