View Full Version : What do you listen to, 10 words or less.

I get asked what kind of music I listen to fairly often, or at least it seems that way, and whenever it happens I'm never able to give a straight answer. I could spend an hour listing of music I like, but nobody wants to listen to that and it gets boring and repetitive.
I have tried to just get my friends to tell me what I listen to but they usualy avoid the question, or I shoot down anything they say.
So to others, if you were asked to describe what you listen to musically in ten words or less, what would you say?

Anything with a beat and no country at all lol.
KH.
P.S. Actually it doesn't even have to have a good beat, just no like country or foreign lol. (Not part of my 10 words or less lol.)

Hahahah this was exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for.
I sometimes say something I can dance to which implies no country, but I actualy have a couple songs that many people would probably consider country that I really enjoy. Also alot of stuff I listen to I could never dance to :p.

Mostly rock influenced music made with synthesizers; classical too.
I've said something similar before and still received confused looks. So I usually resort to giving an example that people commonly know, like Depeche Mode, which I only barely tolerate, sometimes. :p

Anything that annoys my dog.
That's easy. Make a device that attaches to the stereo and plays Britney Spears songs over the top of any music you are listening to. The trick is that the Briney songs will be pitch shifted to be in the range of 22000 Hz to 42000 Hz. The dog (and the cats, and the squirrels) will not enjoy it.

Music that doesn't hurt my ears. Music with depth.
Music with depth of sound and depth of expression.
Classic rock. Classic hard rock. Classic metal. Classical symphonies.
