Who plays?
I played a lot on vacation and am really getting into it.
I am going to try to make my own table here at home.
Discuss everything and anything about Ping Pong or Table Tennis, whichever you prefer to call it.

Does it count that I just saw Balls of Fury (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0424823/)?

me and a friend used to be the regional champion team, but I've sort of fallen out of it during the past year or so.
I do have a $300(NZ) paddle though :D

Damn... ping pong? Isn't that what children call it who can barely hit the ball?
It's Table Tennis here :p. I play in the district league, and I'd say I was an average player (well, better than most people, but not most people in the league).
You can read about some of my games/matches here (http://www.clactontabletennis.com/reports.htm) , if you just click a date (we have weekly matches) , and do ctrl+f... ''James Smith-Daye'' , then ya should find something telling you how pro I am ;)

I have a ping pong table in my room. I still don't play often at all though. I only have one or two friends that are any good at it and one of them is out of my league, so its hard to actualy have a decent match.

Noooooo, Ping Pong is for the creative people who prefer a friendly onamotapoeia to a boring ol self explanatory boring name.

Table tennis can be a lot of fun. I had a table in my garage, but I don't have a garage anymore. So I haven't played for a while.

hmm
i won a tournament for ping pong once, it was cool considering it was one of the first times i had played the game. i've never been killed at the game, but i am by no means good at it.
p.s. i'd bet a dollar i can hold my own at foosball tho.

and for making tables, i would personally use some birch plywood or something like that. $30 for MDF is rediculous, i hate that type of wood.

One of these days you're going to kill that cat.
I tried and tried, knowing you are one for obscure posts that leave me searching for relevancy, but could not make sense of this...
Was it meant to point out that inquisitiveness can lead one into dangerous situations? Like, "Curiousity Killed the cat"

Um, no.
Habby often tells us when he's playing by posting a link to his live-feed in MR.
The couple of times I've watched his games there is a dog roaming under the table and a cat perched near the net.
One of these days there is going to be a calamitous Tom & Jerry incident which will surely end up on America's Funniest Animals.
Obscure posts?
Me?
